Tradecraft Crating is part of SR Creative Services, LLC, a multi-divisional company that provides A to Z services for all art industry needs. Tradecraft focuses on museum quality crating and packaging solutions. Our team follows industry standards when it comes to creating custom crates and travel frames and our quality is not to be beat.

Our sister company, Siteline Projects, provides project management for individuals and organizations. Our experienced approach to unique problems ensures that any project is structured for success. Peter Skvara | Co-Founder & Managing Director

With over fifteen years of experience in the Art industry, Pete’s understanding and relationships with other artists, museum professionals, fabricators and art patrons have led him here today. Pete has produced an array of projects and exhibitions, including two back-to-back national Best Show in a Commercial Gallery AICA Awards. Pete was the founder and creative director for the Chicago-based art and culture magazine, Jettison Quarterly. He has most recently held positions as Director of Project Management for Terry Dowd Inc. and as Senior Project Manager for Theaster Gates Studio, both in Chicago.

Jeff Rhodes | Co-Founder & Managing Director

Jeff has over twenty years of experience in arts programming and art fair management, working for a range of organizations spanning the public and private sectors. Specializing in logistics and operations, Jeff has held leadership positions for international art fairs based in Miami and Chicago.

Patrick Dykstra | Director of Fine Art Services & Lead Mount Fabricator

Patrick specializes in mountmaking techniques, fabrication, and art handling - having gained extensive experience from working at renowned institutions such as the Ringling Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and the Field Museum of Natural History. His innovative way of thinking and desire to progress industry standards has helped to further develop best practices in mountmaking and art handling techniques.

John Tabet | Project Manager

John is a recent graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana – Champaign with a degree in Economics and a concentration in Art History. His prior experience with Shane Campbell Gallery, The Art Institute of Chicago, and EXPO CHICAGO has fostered his interest in the art industry and has given him insight to the different aspects of the industry. This background allows John to ensure the highest quality of service no matter what the project may be.
